Counterfeit R100 and R200 notes turned up at multiple local businesses.

To recognise false notes, KSS recommends that cashiers check notes carefully for textures and security features.
UV lights and detection pens could help identify false notes.

Business owners must train their staff to recognise false notes. Any instances of forgery should be reported to the SAPS.
