Robbers blast open two ATMs in eMbalenhle

Anyone with information is asked to contact the police.

A gang of robbers bombed two automatic ATMs at the Sasol filling station at eKhaya Mall this morning and stole an undisclosed amount of cash this morning.

The gunmen forced a security guard at gunpoint to lie down while they blew up the ATM’s.

Afterwards the security guard was forced to instruct employees inside the shop to open the doors. The robbers then barged in and stole money from the cash register and cigarettes before fleeing the scene.

The police asked that anyone with information, come forward.
