No arrests have been made since the shooting on February 1.
Police in eMbalenhle are investigating the double murder of two Pakistani businessmen, who were shot and killed at their hardware shop on February 1.
The victims, aged 51 and 48, were in their hardware shop in Ext 5 when a gunman entered the shop and, without uttering a word, opened fire.
A third victim escaped in time.
According to Busi Mthethwa, the eMbalenhle police spokesperson, the suspect left the shop and escaped with a dark grey Hyundai without number plates with another man behind the steering wheel.
They fled the scene in the Hyundai.
Mthethwa said the only available description of the shooter is he is a tall, dark man whose right eye does not open properly.
The police collected five 9mm cartridges and two bullet points on the scene.
Mthethwa said the shooting appears like an execution because nothing seems to be stolen from the store.
No one has been arrested yet.
