Man dies in Standerton after injuries to face and broken legs

Hi legs were broken just above the knee caps.

A middle aged man was found next to the R23 road near the Brakspruit Farm area with severe injuries on November 29.

According to Captain Braam Robberts, spokesperson for Standerton police, the man was found lying face up with an injury to the head and two legs broken at the knees.

Officials believe that the head injury was cause by a sharp instrument.

The victim was taken to the hospital via ambulance, but succumbed to his injuries in the late afternoon.

The victim’s identity is currently unknown.

According to Captain Robberts, the man was wearing orange clothing with black sneakers.
