Help eMzinoni police identify dead man
The deceased was wearing black trousers, a brown Scotch jacket and takkies.
Police in eMzinoni are investigating an inquest after the body of an unknown man was found behind the Milan Park filling station in eMzinoni.
According to Sergeant Cynthia Mtsweni, spokesperson for the eMzinoni police, officers received a report from community members on the evening of June 14 about a man lying behind the filling station.
Mtsweni said the deceased was wearing black trousers, a brown Scotch jacket and takkies. He had no visible injuries.
All relevant role players were summoned to the scene, and the man was declared dead by emergency medical personnel. The deceased has not yet been identified, and members of the local community do not know him.
An inquest docket has been opened to determine the cause of death. Police are appealing to members of the public to assist in identifying the deceased and locating his family.
