Church in eMbalenhle donates food to the elderly

The Trinity Bible Church in Ext 11, eMbalenhle donated food parcels to the elderly on Saturday, August 6.

The church’s leader, Past David Mkhize, said the church was giving back to the community as per the Bible’s requirement.

Mkhize said his church has done many projects, including building houses for destitute families.

“During the hard lockdown where many of our community members were unable to put bread on their table, our church intervened.

“Many of our community members were starving because most of their bread winners lost their jobs. We used our offering to assist them,” said Mkhize.

Mkhize said they are planning other projects that will assist the poor.
