Bowling club in Secunda raises R40 000 for Cansa

Anyone is welcome to join Sasol Secunda Bowling Club.

The Great Ones bowling team, consisting of Jimmy Holloway, Koos Jonker, Andries Terry and Kevin Terry, won the fundraising tournament at Sasol Secunda Bowling Club on July 4.

The day was held to raise money for Cansa, and R40 000 was raised. A total of 18 teams took part and the day consisted of three rounds of competition.

Holloway, chairperson of Sasol Secunda Bowling Club, said they are proud of all the club members, sponsors, and the wider bowling community for coming together and making the day a success.

“The amount of money we raised for Cansa is a remarkable achievement and it shows what can be accomplished when people unite behind a worthy cause,” said Holloway.
