Nearly 80 participants enter parkrun in Standerton
Tshiamo Lephoto completed the 5km in a time of 16:11, followed by Katleho Samuel in 17:21.
Altogether 78 participants were ready to take on the parkrun on Saturday, October 8 at 08:00.
Run director, Lizette Jansen van Rensburg, did the countdown at Standerton River Park.
A total of 10 participants improved their times and five first-timers joined.
Tshiamo Lephoto completed the 5km in a time of 16:11, followed by Katleho Samuel in 17:21.
Sifiso Siphamandla crossed the finish line in 18:17, while Chuhla Phago clocked in at 18:48, a new personal best.
Thapelo Mahlangu’s time was 21:27.
Charl van Wyk, Francois Streicher, Frans Vermaak, Geneva Naidoo, Johannes Vosloo, Krishnalal Ramdharee,
Marjorie Uys, Preyanka Dorasamy, Priscilla Ramdharee, Renette de Sousa, Ruwan Vermaak and Séan Jansen van Rensburg made the event possible.
