EVANDER – Ivan Maré clinched the title as men’s open champion at Walker Park Golf Club on Saturday, December 3.

Maré, with a +5 handicap, is the overall winner for the day with 5 under par in the A Division. Vusi Zungu also shined when he finished his first round with 3 under par.

Bad weather interrupted play, but this did not hinder Juan Rossouw to win the B Division. Marius Lombard is the runner-up.

Pierre Jordaan won the C Division with 33 points followed by Danie Heese with 31 points. The club management thanked everyone who participated in the championship.
