Cullinan man arrested in drug bust

He will soon appear in court.

Cullinan police arrested a man on February 17 following the discovery of suspected drugs worth thousands of rand.

According to a media statement from the office of the station commander Lieutenant Colonel AC Gertzen, police officers noticed a suspicious-looking BMW driving recklessly.

They immediately stopped and searched the vehicle and found several bags containing cash and what they suspect to be heroine.

The motorist was arrested and is being detained at Cullinan Police Station. He will soon appear in the Cullinan Magistrate’s Court on suspected drug charges.

“The station commander appreciates and commended the efforts made by the Visible Policing members who went all out in ensuring the safety and security of citizens.”
