Secunda’s action cricket finals bring end to summer league
March 25 marked the end of the summer cricket league finals at Action Sports Secunda.
The Action Sports summer cricket league had a sizzling ending in the finals on March 25. The teams competed for the top spots in the Men’s, Women’s and Mixed cricket leagues.
In the women’s league, the FUNdamentals came out victorious, claiming the season gold. The silver went to Bats & Bras, with the Wolverines finishing with the bronze.
It was a victorious win for the Kosmos Eagles, who finished the men’s A league finals with gold.
The silver was claimed by the Nativa Valkies and the bronze went to Class on Grass.
In the B league, Buffalos finished with gold. Working Class ended with the silver and MSL the bronze.
The men’s C league saw Brandy Special win gold. Mavericks won the silver, and the Replacements won the bronze.
In the men’s D league finals, CB Six Offenders were the season winners. The silver went to the Astro Assassins and the bronze went to the Silly Sloggers.
The Pit Crew finished the season as the gold winners in the mixed league. The Challengers finished with silver and The Meïsters took bronze.
Players can now look forward to the autumn cricket league that begins on April 3.
