Man gunned down when leaving for work in Leandra
The suspects were picked up by a white SUV vehicle with no registration.
The Leandra police are searching for two suspects who allegedly shot and killed a 51-year-old man inside his vehicle on March 30.
Constable Nontobeko Ngubeni, the Leandra police spokesperson, said the man’s wife was opening a gate for her husband as he left for work that morning. As she closed the gate after the car was out of the yard, she heard multiple gunshots and a scream.
Upon checking to see what was happening, she noticed two men running towards the PE Maziya Secondary School.
She called for help, but a white SUV with no registration numbers already picked up the suspects.
Ngubeni said the police opened a murder case and have made no arrests. Investigations continue.
