Finals brings close to Autumn Cricket League at Action Sports Secunda
It was the battle of the best for the gold, silver and bronze in the men's, women's and mixed Autumn Cricket League season finals on June 24, at Action Sports Secunda arena.
It was all action on the cricket pitches at Action Sports Secunda arena, which brought a close to the Autumn League season in the men, women, and mixed leagues finals on June 24.
FUNdamentals, the summer league winners in the women’s league, for the second consecutive season clinched gold to win the autumn league.
Wolverines came back from last season’s bronze, claiming silver.
The underdogs of the season and first-time league team Hat-Trick Chicks beat Bats and Bras for the bronze spot.

The season favourites in the men’s A-league, Kosmos Eagles, once again took gold in the finals. Class on Grass ended with silver, and the Dream Team got bronze.
Brandy Special came out tops in the B-league with gold. The silver went to MSL and the bronze to Megchem.
In the C-league, the Bomb Squad was victorious with gold, while Mavericks claimed silver and Octobats bronze.
Silly Sloggers finished as the gold winners in the D-league. The Crusaders Cricket secured silver and Boomer’s bronze.

Another team favourite in the mixed league, The Pit Crew, again clinched the gold spot for this season.
They were followed by The Meisters, who ended with silver and Megchem Mix on bronze. Senior players are gearing up for the winter league season from July 10 to November 4.
The junior winter league will be from July 19 to September 15. Other sports available in winter are action netball (mixed, women and men), and action hockey (mixed, women and men).
