59 participants line up for Standerton parkrun
Bongane Mpokane crossed the finish line in a time of 19:41, followed by Ebrahim Mussa who recorded 22:01.

With no less than a pajama-theme, run director Lizette Jansen van Rensburg had nearly 60 participants out of the blocks on July 8.
The parkrun at the Standerton River Park is a free event where athletes, joggers or walkers compete against themselves.
Altogether six athletes improved their times over the distance of 5km and 10 first-timers joined the exercise.
Bongane Mpokane crossed the finish line in a time of 19:41, followed by Ebrahim Mussa who recorded 22:01.
Chrizell Roberts ran a time of 22:33 in her 50th event, while Omran Marzugi came in at 23:43.

Delaney Grobbelaar registered 26:12, a new personal best and Wassie Rossouw completed the distance in 26:52.
Janke Wessels ended her two laps in 27:09, followed by Parth Jayram’s 28:47 and Driekus Nothnagel’s 29:56, a new face.
Pieter Grobbelaar completed the distance in 30:15 and Jané van Niekerk in 30:22.
Volunteers ensure a safe and smooth event and last Saturday was no exception since Jennifer Naidoo, Johannes Vosloo, Khangekile Simelane,
Lydia Roets, Preyanka Dorasamy, Renette de Sousa, Séan Jansen van Rensburg and Zeldine Strydom took up strategic positions.
