Two murders in two days in eMbalenhle

A 65-year-old woman was killed and her 47-year-old boyfriend was arrested.

The eMbalenhle Police are investigating two murders that took place last week. The police were summoned to the murder scene at Ext 11, eMbalenhle on September 17.

According to Constable Busi Mthethwa, the eMbalenhle police spokesperson, the police found a man with four bullet wounds.

He was rushed to the Ext 4 clinic where he was certified dead.

Mthethwa said a murder case has been opened but no arrests have yet been made.

In another murder that happened on September 15, a 65-year-old woman was killed and her 47-year-old boyfriend was arrested.

According to Mthethwa, the woman’s body was found in Ext 22. Her clothes were full of blood from a stab wound on the right side of her chest.

Mthethwa said she was declared dead on the scene and the suspect was arrested and charged with murder.
