Two more murders in eMba

It is alleged that one man stapped the deceased with a knife. When they noticed he was no more breathing, they took him with a minibus and dumped him near the clinic.

The body of a 24-year-old man was found dumped near the Paulina Morapeli Clinic at Ext 19, eMbalenhle on October 28.

Constable Busi Mthethwa, the eMbalenhle police spokesperson, said they summoned all role players to the scene and the man was declared dead.

Mthethwa said the man’s friend alleges a group of men from Ext 16 (known as Mandela Section) assaulted them for stealing a cellphone in a tavern.

One of the assailants allegedly took out his knife and stabbed the deceased.

When the assailants noticed he had stopped breathing, they transported him in a minibus to the clinic and dumped him nearby.

The dead man had stab wounds to his neck. A murder case was opened. No arrests have been made yet.

The police also October 28, were summoned to the illegal dumping area in Ext 22 where the body of an unknown man was found.

Mthethwa said the deceased had a big open-cut wound on his neck and was declared dead on the scene.
