Six set personal best times at Bronkies parkrun
Volunteers Amisha Rampersadh, André de Lange, Bhavna Ramersadh, Casper Strydom, Despina Rockas, Drienie Opperman and Filia Rockas helped make the event possible.
A total of 29 people took part in the 159th Bronkhorstspruit parkrun on November 11. Christiaan Steyl was the first to cross the finish line.
He set a new personal best time of 26:54 in which he completed the 5km route.
Sue-Mari Oosthuysen completed the route in a time of 27:38, followed by youngster Renaldo du Plessis (27:40), veteran Harry van der Merwe (28:39) and Riaan Oosthuysen (28:39) in fifth place.
Renaldo and Riaan Oosthuysen also set new personal best times.
The other three parkrunners who improved their personal best times are Colleen Markgraaff (47:45), Haliema Royker (56:37) and Muhammad Mukkarram Khan (56:38).

The Bronkhorspruit parkrun takes place at Ubhule Christian School at 08:00 every Saturday.
To get to the venue, turn off the R25 onto the Bronkhorstbaai Road. Look for the Kungwini 4×4 turn-off on your right-hand side. The parkrun banner is also placed there.
Turn right onto this road and follow the direction boards to Ubhule Christian School. Everyone taking part in the parkrun is invited to join in the weekly post parkrun coffee.
