Celebrate Mandela Day by making a difference at animal shelter in Evander

A local artist will sketch the design, and then it’s your turn to help bring it to life.

Join Khulula Animal Welfare Society (KHAWS) on July 18 for a special Mandela Day community project as they transform a wall at the shelter into a vibrant mural filled with colour, hope, and compassion.

A local artist will sketch the design, and then it’s your turn to help bring it to life.

Whether you’re an individual, family, school group, or business, everyone is welcome to pick up a paintbrush and leave their mark.

Every brushstroke will help brighten the shelter and show support for the dedicated people and the animals who call KHAWS home.

Bring your own paint, brushes, and plenty of enthusiasm, and spend your 67 minutes making a lasting impact.

The mural painting will begin at 10:00.
