Secunda image consultant is in Top 11 of Mrs South Africa Curves
Local woman shows off her dress at Hollywoodbets Durban July.
Local photographer and image consultant, Chantél Rottcher (35), made it to the Top 11 finalists for the Mrs South Africa Curves title.
Rottcher’s journey with modelling and entering this competition started in 2024 when she took part in a competition on Facebook to become the clothing range Loka’s national model for bigger clothing sizes.
While she attended the Mrs South Africa event last year with the owner of Loka, someone in the modelling industry encouraged her to enter the Mrs South Africa Curves competition, and Rottcher decided to take on the challenge.
Rottcher now performs as a motivational speaker at women’s events and enjoys encouraging women to achieve their best and be who God created them to be.

She is also still an ambassador for Loka in Three Rivers and still models their clothing ranges.
She never thought she would take part in the Mrs South Africa Curves competition at the age of 35, although it has been her dream since she was a little girl to become a model.
As part of this journey, Rottcher had the chance to attend the prestigious Hollywoodbets Durban July horse racing event in Durban earlier this month.
The team of Annkar, who design clothes, chose Rottcher and designed her dress for the Durban July.Annkar is now one of her sponsors.
Rottcher has to attend workshops and events weekly as part of her Mrs South Africa Curves journey. She is also working on developing and launching her own lipstick range later this year.
