Round Table 231 launched the Teksa Speed Bleed initiative to celebrate Heritage Month. This project will run throughout September and highlight the Highveld area’s strong car culture.

According to Carl van Staden of the Round Table, the idea of this initiative is to see who can donate blood in the shortest time.

All three branches of the South African National Blood Service (SANBS) in Secunda, Bethal, and Sasol will compete for each donor’s time.

The top 10 times of each week will be published for the duration of September. A proper blood drive and opportunity for more people to donate blood will take place on September 24.

The winners of the shortest time to donate blood will be announced soon after September 30, and the prizes up for grabs are all ‘car’ things.

Some of the prizes include vouchers from places that sell merchandise and car-related items.
