President Ramaphosa visits Sasol in Secunda

The tour provided the president with a first-hand view of Sasol's integrated Secunda value chain.

President Cyril Ramaphosa, accompanied by the Premier of Mpumalanga, Mandla Ndlovu, went on a guided tour of Sasol’s Secunda Operations, led by Sasol President and Chief Executive Officer, Simon Baloyi, together with Sasol Independent Non-Executive Director and Chairperson of the Board, Muriel Dube, and members of the Group Executive Committee.

The tour provided the president with a first-hand view of Sasol’s integrated Secunda value chain and its contribution to energy security, industrial capability, manufacturing, skills development and economic growth, while highlighting the company’s transition initiatives aimed at strengthening South Africa’s security of supply for liquid fuels and chemicals.
