Kusasalethu Secondary School’s netball team in eMbalenhle will represent Mpumalanga in Boksburg, Gauteng in August.

This team was crowned as Mpumalanga champions in netball on Saturday, July 23 at Hoërskool WH De Klerk in Emalahleni, Witbank and is proceeding to the national championship.

The team lacks resources to partake in the national championship.

According to the school’s sports committee, they need help with accommodation, transport, catering and netball kits.

The team began their rise by competing in the local netball school competition, then proceeded to win the district championships and eventually the provincial champs.
