I would like to share the following, I recently wrote a letter to the office of the Department of Roads in Mpumalanga and the Govan Mbeki District regarding the safety of the road between Secunda and Evander.
At certain places on the road, between Secunda and Evander, many fatal accidents have taken place in the past, for example the bridge at the dam.
They reacted swiftly and by Tuesday a delegation inspected the area and work began on Wednesday.
They erected road signs warning road users of the hazards.
We can only appreciate the work done by the department.
