Residents up in arms

Resident complains about municipality.

We as Bethallers have the same experience and the same problems regarding the electricity break downs in Bethal as last year.

Nothing has changed and nothing has improved.

The municipality are failing our community.

Some areas in Bethal had no electricity on Sunday.

The electricians are rude to the people.

The power went off on Friday, 21 November behind the Hendrina bridge and the electrician on duty said he was already there.

I was also there and nobody showed up.

The residents were left in the dark until the next day.

It took him 20 minutes to switch on the power.

Why is this laziness, no-care attitude tolerated by the municipality?

Constant power breakdowns in Bethal are not a joke anymore.

The residents are losing appliances which they have worked for very hard and claims are not being paid out by the municipality.

I have lost two televisions, not to mention all the losses of other residents.

We are up in arms here.

What are we about to do?
