Free 4×4 training facility

Free Bundu-bashing experience in Ermelo CBD.

To the Town Council of Ermelo I ask how blessed can a person be in this town of ours?

In spite of all the negative situations in our town we as residents must start seeing the bright side of life.

I recently had the privilege of driving down Murray (Wessels) Street and as I passed a well-known hardware store, the fun really started.

Such a wonderful experience of “bundu-bashing” is seldom found in a street in a town.

I realised that a person can improve his 4×4 driving skills on this 4×4 route. The amazing thing is that this route is not advertised by the municipality. There are many 4×4 vehicle owners in our town that are unaware of such a facility and, what is more, it is free of charge and open 24 hours a day.

However, if the municipal management is of the opinion that a 4×4 route in a public street in Ermelo is not a good idea, we as citizens beg for this disastrous situation to be repaired, as this route is not suitable for any non-4×4 vehicles.

There are several places of business situated in this street, but getting to them is quite a challenge.
