Community can combat crime

Police Ermelo put out an bulletin and Police Standerton set up a road block and stopped the first vehicle, but the second sped through to be chased by police, security officers, farmers and even a helicopter.

TFG (The Foschini Group) which includes exact!, Markham and American Swiss, wishes to express its sincere appreciation to all those who participated in the arrest of five robbers who had robbed exact! in Ermelo on Thursday 19 November 2015.

On that morning a number of robbers infiltrated the store and after threatening the staff members with firearms, made off with a substantial amount of merchandise.

An observant car guard outside the store witnessed the stolen property being loaded into vehicles and ran to the police station to report the incident.

Police Ermelo put out an bulletin and Police Standerton set up a road block and stopped the first vehicle, but the second sped through to be chased by police, security officers, farmers and even a helicopter.
