Annual Youth Development Soccer Tournament launched
Real Blizzard changed the tournament, beating Cosmos Gunners with a score of 1 - 0
Lekwa Football Association held their first Youth Development Soccer Tournament on Saturday 17 October.
The tournament will take place annually.
The matches will be played at Basement Grounds on Saturdays during the off-season.
Mr Jethro Sishange, First Deputy Chair of Lekwa Football Association, thanked Messrs Majoji Motaung and Peter Mthethwa, representatives of Standerton Force 10 Social Club, for sponsoring the tournament.
The association hopes that the partnership between them and the club will last for years and that this event will grow and unlock talent among the youth of Standerton, especially the 13-to 15-year-olds.
They also invited the people of Standerton to come and watch while the young people play soccer.
Blue Cranes and Young Highlanders drew 0 – 0, MG Pirates and Dynamos also drew 0 – 0, as well as Royal Knights and Classic.
