KINROSS – Tembisa Orlando Pirates claimed a 3-2 victory against eMbalenhle Kaizer Chiefs on Sunday, 15 November at Kinross Sasol Club.

Sbonelo Makhunga of eMbalenhle was the goal scorer for his team.

eMbalenhle Orlando Pirates’ deputy chairman, Mr Shumi Mkhize, said they always play friendly games with the aim of forging a good relationship between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates supporters.

The games are played by Chiefs and Pirates supporters.

Mr Richard Mboweni, eMbalenhle Kaizer Chiefs’ branch secretary, said their friendship has grown and they also encourage Pirates and Chiefs supporters to have membership cards so that they are able to know and identify one another.

“We are also raising awareness during our social games, because we often hear that people were fighting after an Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs match.

“By creating a friendship in the local branches, we will be able to be friends even at stadiums and the fighting will stop,” said Mr Mkhize.

Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs supporters can contact Mr Mkhize at 083 786 9219 and Mr Mboweni at 072 352 9199 for more information regarding the friendly games.
