Athletes of the Standerton Marathon Club competed in the weekly time trials on 16 February.
Once again there was a 4km and a 8km race and only one athlete took on the 8km.
Themba Radebe completed the distance in a time of 38 min 4 sec.
Eight athletes competed in the 4km race.
Isaiah Dlamini was first and clocked a time of 16 min 35 sec, followed by Marike Janse van Vuuren who finished in 21 min 44 sec.
Kobus Green, Shaun de Jager and Christo le Roux finished in 24 min 24 sec.
Buti Maduna finished in 25 min 1 sec and Petseka Tsotetsi and Telepo Nsibande finished in 25 min 50 sec.
Other athletes also competed in the Sasol Three in One Race on 13 February.
There were three different distances, a 10km, 21.1km and a 42km.
Mthokozisi Ntuli finished the 10km race in 35 min 26 sec.
Themba Radebe finished the 21.1km in 1:40,00, followed by Pieter Grobbelaar in 2:20,28, Heidi van der Merwe in 2:25,00 and Jannie Kasselman in 2:49,00.
Seven athletes competed in the 42.2km race.
Lennox Mfenqa finished in 3:00,00, followed by Themba Selepe in 3:16,00 and Telepo Nsibande in 3:54,00.
Kobus Green finished in 4:26, followed by Lukas van der Merwe in 4:48,00 and Shaun de Jager in 4:49,00. Christo le Roux brought up the rear and finished in 4:52,00.
Two athletes competed in the 10km Valentine’s Night Race on 10 February.
Pieter Grobbelaar finished the race in 1:00,48 and Gerhard Lues completed it in 1:10,05.
