KINROSS – Funda Nathi Chess Club’s coordinator, Mr Richard Maseko, said the sport is growing in Ext 25.
Though the club have new members, they are still challenged with shelter.
“The place looks good, but we realised that during dusty and windy times, we are going to experience problems because this place is open,” said Mr Maseko.
He said they will be glad to have a decent building and they also need sponsors who will be able to assist with chess boards and equipmentent such as clocks which are used during chess tournaments.
Mr Maseko was happy that one of their members participated in a chess tournament in Ermelo on Saturday, 23 April.
