Shining Stars beats Royal Force

Thabo created an own goal during match against Royal Force.

eMBALENHLE – Shining Stars claimed victory over Royal Force at eMbalenhle Sasol Club on Saturday, 14 May.

Royal Force created many chances, but were unable to score goals.

Shining Stars beat them 4-1.

Thabo Matsika of Shining Stars created an own goal which counted for Royal Force.

Ntuthuko Mdlalose scored one goal, right wing Siyabonga Dube also scored a goal and Innocent Hadebe scored two goals for Shining Stars FC.

Royal Force’s coach, Mr Comfort Sihlangu, said they did not practice because their poles were damaged by a BMW that spinned on the field.

Mr Simon (Spider) Kodisang, coach of Shining Stars, said the match was fair and their opponents had given them a tough time.

“We undermined them because of their position on the log,” said Mr Kodisang.
