Kinross hosts U/15 soccer league

Flamingo FC coach said they are happy to have beaten number one team in the league.

KINROSS – Govan Mbeki Local Football Association League for U/15 was played at Kinross Sasol Club on Saturday, 21 May.

eMbalenhle Shining Stars beat West United 2-0, Prosper Home played 2-2 against eMbalenhle Zone 2, Young Stars won 1-0 against Zone Mavo, United FC beat Juventus 2-0, Flamingo FC won 4-1 against Macadonia and eMbalenhle Maximum beat Evander FC 3-2.

The team that was supposed to play against Thistle Grove FC did not pitch up.

Mr Bongani Mohlala, Macadonia coach, said his players did not give their all during their match against Flamingo FC, and Flamingo FC’s coach was pleased that his team beat the number one team of the league.

Some teams played without the coaches, while others arrived late.

“Safa officials do not attend our games and as such they do not see the challenges we face during our matches,” said a coach.
