Nico van den Berg is going to Algeria

SECUNDA – Nico van den Berg from the Sasol Secunda Wrestling Club, will take part in the Africa Junior Wrestling Championships in Algeria in July.

The Spur in Secunda Mall held a fundraising evening for Nico on Tuesday, 24 May.

He worked as waiter with Portia Sibanyoni.

Nico was the Cadet Wrestling Champion in 2015 at the Africa Cadet Wrestling Championships and hopes to become the Africa Junior Wrestling Champion this year.

Mr Johan van den Berg, president of the Sasol Secunda Wresting Club, expressed his gratitude towards the management of Spur for the opportunity, as well as the public for their support.
