Thandeka claims victory
The team created many scoring chances in both the first and second half.
Thandeka Primary School BU/14 soccer team beat Igugulabasha Primary School 2 – 0 on 31 May.
This Mcdonald League final took place at the Stanton Grounds.
Thandeka put on a good fight and managed to find the back of the net twice.
They moved forward every time the ball was in their possession.
The team created many scoring chances in both the first and second half.
Igugulabasha Primary School tried their best, but Thandeka was the better team on the day.
Igugulabasha made mistakes and were not communicating as effectively as they were supposed to, losing the ball to their opponent easily.
As the winners of the Lekwa West Circuit, Thandeka played against the winners in the Lekwa East Circuit on 1 June.
The winners of this match will represent the circuit in the district championships in Kinross on 17 June.
