Roman Stars draws with Spain

Soccer fans came out in numbers to support both teams.

KINROSS – Residents of Ext 25 witnessed yet another jaw-breaking soccer match on Sunday, 5 June.

The match between Roman Stars and Kinross Spain ended with a one all draw.

The unstoppable left forward of Spain, Absalom Tshabalala, was marked by the unpredictable Bongani Magazi of Roman Stars.

The midfielder, Thokozani (Jali) Radebe, scored the goal for Spain in the second half.

It seems that once every one was convinced that Spain had won the match, Siphamandla Nkosi scored for Roman Stars and levelled the score to 1-1.

The teams went into penalties, but the match was stopped due to the darkness as the night went on. It will continue this week.

Both goalkeepers were doing their best to keep the balls out of the net.

Soccer fans who came out in numbers to support both teams, said it is always exciting to watch these teams playing against each other.

Supporters thanked the organisers for bringing them exciting matches every weekend.

Some fans said they miss Vultures FC however who used to have excellent players and want them to return.
