Walker Park hosts Secunda 4X4 Club

EVANDER – Jurie Myburg, Levi Marx, Piet Croucamp and Geo Dunn with 100 points won the Secunda 4×4 Club four ball alliance scramble drive at Walker Park Golf Club on Saturday.

The club hosted the golf day to raise finds for the upgrade of their course at the Lake Umuzi track, their home ground, and to build ablution facilities.

The chairman of the club, Mr Derrick de Villiers, said the money raised during the event will also help to keep the annual membership fees as low as possible.

“The golf day was needed for the upgrades without asking the members to dig deeper into their pockets,” said Mr De Villiers.

Secunda 4×4 Club is a non profit organisation and was founded to give 4×4 enthusiasts the opportunity to gather and enjoy the outdoors.

“The club thanks all the sponsors, Walker Park and everyone who helped to make the day a success,” said Mr De Villiers.
