U/15 LFA soccer tournament

eMBALENHLE – Eight teams took part in the U/15 Local Football Association’s soccer tournament in eMbalenhle on Saturday, 6 August.
The first game was between Shining Stars and Evander Academy.
The score was 5-0 in Shining Stars’ favour.
The next game was between Remember FC and Prosper.
Though the goalkeeper of Prosper tried to save goals for his team, that did not stop Remember FC to have a victory of 3-0.
Remember FC player, Tebogo Khanyi, played well and the goal scorers were Linda Ngwenya, Banele Mtsweni and Ntokozo Hlatshwayo.
Zone 2 faced United FC and the results were 3-3 all.
The first goals for United FC was scored by Simphiwe Manana and Rooi Mthombeni, followed with a goal for Zone 2.
Sabatha Nhlabathi scored the second goal for Zone 2 and the third goal was scored by Sibusiso Khumalo.
The second goal for United FC was scored by Siyabonga Magudulela and the equalising goal by Happy Nkambule.
One red card was issued for a Zone 2 player.
The final game was between Thistle Grove and Flamingo FC.
Nkosinathi Mbonani scored two goals for Thistle Grove FC who won the game 5-0.
