CCYI support sports development

eMBALENHLE – The Council for Concerned Youth Institute (CCYI) handed over prizes to U/15 Local Football Association teams.
Mr Mfanyendwa Ntshalintshali said CCYI is an organisation that set helps and allows young people to expose their talents and provides opportunities for them.
The main initiative is to develop sports tournaments for young people.
Various games will be held in Mpumalanga during the different seasons.
Winter games will be hosted by Bronkhorstspruit, the spring games by Delmas and the autumn games by Govan Mbeki Municipality.
Mr Ntshalintshali said the finals will be played in one of the townships in the three areas.
“The finals will be called the Summer Games and will take place from 16 to 31 December every year,” said Mr Ntshalintshali.
The games also aims at giving young offenders and drug addicts the opportunity to showcase their potential talents and skills in different sports activities.
CCYI will also be launching a netball league tournament in Govan Mbeki Municipality.
Teachers from different schools will be playing at the launch.
