Secunda Stars draws against Arconhoek

eMBALENHLE – Secunda Stars opened their new season by playing 2-2 against Acornbush United FC at eMbalenhle Stadium over the weekend.
The match was very tight as both teams were fighting to collect points and fans braved the cold to support their teams.
Acornbush player Mdu scored their first goal in the 15th mintune of play.
Secunda Stars had many chances to score goals and kept their fans in suspense as they lacked finishing touches into the eighteenth area.
The first half of the game saw Secunda Stars frustrating the Acornbush backline.
Secunda Stars fans yelled with excitement in the second half when Mxolisi Mbonani scored their first goal.
One yellow card was handed out to Acornbush and Secunda Stars was issued three yellow cards.
One player got a red card after getting a second yellow card a few minutes before the game ended.
A penalty was awarded to Acornbush that led to their second goal by Madoda Motha.
Acornbush tried to get their balls into the nets, but the goalkeeper, Lucky Masheule, impressed his fans with amazing saves.
Secunda Stars’ second goal was scored by Sibusiso Phiri.
The fans of Secunda Stars were not happy and blamed the referee for being biased.
