SECUNDA – Mr Marco Bender is the chairman of the Mpumalanga Eight Ball Pool Federation.
The federation recently held its annual general meeting and selected a new committee.
Mr Martin Fourie is the vice-chairman, Mr Gerhard Smit is the treasurer and Ms Venetia Fourie is the secretary.
The federation currently hosts 13 registered pool clubs from Secunda, Bethal, Ermelo, eMalahleni (Witbank), Middelburg and Mashisheng (Lydenburg).
The South African Pool Championship took place recently in Vereeniging and the women’s team from Mpumalanga reached the semi-finals of the B Division, as well as the Masters team from Mpumalanga.
