Secunda Marathon Club goes on brag run before Comrades.

These members of the Secunda Marathon Club will take on the Comrades on Sunday, 10 June. In front are Elsje Meyer, Dirk Wolfaardt, Barend Mostert, Hennie Venter, Martin Fourie and Albert Wolfaardt. In the middle are Hannes Prinsloo, Jan Rabie, Wilna Jordaan, Carole Wolfaardt, Dewald Brits, Daleen Venter, Daleen Joubert and Denise Wolfaardt. At the back are Coenraad Meyer, Shaun Stander, Graham Phillips, Dirk van den Heever, Danie Jacobs, Linmarie Swanepoel and Niel Swanepoel.

SECUNDA – Athletes from the Secunda Marathon Club went on a brag run on Saturday morning, 2 June to introduce their Comrades novices to the community.

They began their run in front of Food Lovers Market at the Secunda Mall and then joined the Park Run.

The club has 36 athletes that entered the Comrades this year, of which 11 will run the race for the first time on 10 June.

Leading the pack with their banner held high, are Hannes Prinsloo and Dirk van den Heever of Secunda Marathon Club.
