Acrobats from dance academy undergo examinations
Results varied from honours with distinction 90% to 100%, honours 85% to 89% and highly commended 80% to 84%.
The acrobats of Lorrette’s Dance Academy underwent their Acrobatic Federation of South Africa (AFSA)’s examinations on Saturday, 14 March.
Results varied from honours with distinction 90% to 100%, honours 85% to 89% and highly commended 80% to 84%.
Lee-Anne Uys excelled with 94,5% in the Red-category and qualified for a bursary for the third successive year, of which the event is scheduled for August.
In the Silver-category, Mia Nieuwenhuis obtained 94,5% and Suzelle van Dyk 86%, while Kazlyn Jackson obtained 87,5% in the Tan-category and Siyanda Khumalo 91,5% .
Hiemne Dippenaar obtained 91% in the Pink-category, Marjolé Uys 90%, Lea Crawford 90%, Lunga Tshabalala 91% and Mieke Venter 90%.
In the Orange-category, Abia Erasmus obtained 87%, Annelyn Button 85%, Nothando Ngwenya 89% and Chanél Buitendag 85%, while Alexia Lourens obtained 90,5%, Lihané Nortjé 90,5%,
Jenique Jacobs 90%, Kamohelo Mapitsi 91,5%, Lerato Motloung 91,5%, Letho Zulu 91%, Kgaogelo Matshabe 90% and Zanri Buitendag 91%.
Jané van Niekerk obtained 92,5% in the Yellow-category and Danél Steenkamp 95%, while Andoné van Vuuren obtained 80% in the Silver-category and Casey du Plessis 82%.
