The roads has many potholes putting motorists and joggers at risks

eMBALENHLE – Jogging in the morning is the new normal in the area.

Every morning various streets are flooded with joggers of all ages.

The Old Bracken Road is currently a hotspot for joggers.

Nearly a hundred joggers use this road between 6am and 9am.

Most of the joggers are not wearing masks and are not keeping to social distancing.

The government has advised against a group jog, but the joggers said they didn’t plan it that way.

“I don’t know these people – I found them here.

“We are all about healthy living.

“Exercising boosts the immune system, I believe that this culture can help in the fight against Covid-19,” said a jogger.

Runners make use of the Bracken road.
