Secunda fighters take part in outside event in Johannesburg
Coach thanks community for support
SECUNDA – Stefan ‘Beserker’ Diedericks of Dominators Den in Secunda lost his fight against Lucah Paoli earlier in October at an event held at the Mall of Africa in Johannesburg.
According to Diedericks’ coach, Mr Cedric Doyle, the fight went all three rounds and Paoli got the decision win.
“I am very proud of Diedericks as he showed tons of heart and grit against a tough opponent,” said Mr Doyle.
Heindrich ‘The Hounddog’ Wiese, also from Dominators Den, won his fight against Jeremie Tshibala with an unanimous decision.
Another fighter of Dominators Den, Vince ‘His Majesty’ Nkosi, also fought at this event and his fight against Raymond Acutt was called a no contest because the floor of the fighting ring became too slippery to continue.
The event was held outside as a safety precaution because of Covid-19.
Mr Doyle is thankful that his fighters could take part in another fight night and he thanked the community for their support.
Dominators Den offers classes for children and women and they have weekly practice sessions.
