Graceland Golf Club holds annual general meeting
Club wants to upgrade golf course.
SECUNDA – Members of Graceland Country Club attended the golf club’s annual general meeting on Wednesday evening, 11 November and a new committee was elected.
Mr Marthinus Venter is the new chairman of the club and Mr Graham Cupido is the club captain.
The other members on the committee are Messrs Moorosi Seboka, Peet van Zyl, Iyberne du Preez, RJ Ferreira and Jerry Sisa and Ms Christa Prinsloo.
Mr Brian Horsley, Country Club manager and Food and Beverage manager at Graceland Hotel, Casino and Country Club, also attended the meeting and gave his input.
Mr Du Preez said it was a good year for the golf club and since lockdown moved to lower levels, many people played golf.
He said the club committee wants Graceland to be considered as one of the top golf courses in Mpumalanga and thus they are planning on doing some upgrades on the golf course.
They also want to attract more Mpumalanga golf tournaments to the Graceland golf course.
