Teks Shooting Club outside Trichardt hosts club and competitions

Marksmen of various towns compete in league.

TRICHARDT – The Teks Shooting Club hosted a club competition on 6 and 7 February and the Mpumalanga Practical Shooting Association (MPSA) shotgun league and rifle league on 13 and 14 February.

Pieter Bouwer won the open category of the club competition and made 627 points.

Hendrik Engelbrecht finished second with 526 points, while Adré Weideman finished third and had 404 points.

Cobus Mouton won the PCC category of the club competition and made 598 points while Louwrens van Schaik finished second with 595 points and Glen Grobler third with 505 points.

Rohan Wiese was the winner in the production category of the club competition on 578 points, while Vincent Mortlock finished second with 554 points and Ruan van Heerden third with 537 points.

Jean Engelbrecht was the winner in the production optics category with 631 points, while Hendrik Engelbrecht finished second with 588 points and Koos Smit third with 474 points.

Paul Loock was the best shot in the standard category of the club competition and won with 640 points while Jacques Alberts finished second with 383 points and Derick le Roux third with 338 points.

Bouwer also won the combined category and made 598 points, while Jean Engelbrecht finished second with 591 points and Loock third with 552 points.

In the league competition held the past weekend, Lorenzo Belmonte won the mini rifle category with 500 points. Pieter Bouwer won the open category and made 500 points.

Cobus Mouton and Glen Grobler respectively finished first and second in the PCC category with 500 and 320 points.

Rohan Wiese was the winner in the production category of the league and made 451 points while Ruan van Heerden finished second with 414 points and Hennie Koch third with 328 points.

Jean Engelbrecht won the production optics category with 496 points, while Derich Eicker finished second with 377 points and Ridwan Patel third with 210 points.

Ruan Beneke won the standard category of the league with 474 points, while Flip du Plessis finished second with 461 points and Hein Venter finished third with 393 points.

Nicky Bernard won the open category of the league with 532 points, while Davin Giles finished second with 484 points and Mitch McAllister third with 445 points.

Wesley Visser won the standard category of the league with 482 points, while André van Rooyen finished second with 471 points and Terrick Naude third with 465 points.

Ronald Gower won the open manual category of the league with 514 points, while Wesley Visser finished second with 510 points and Irving Stevenson third with 343 points.

Pa van Wyk won the standard semi auto category with 559 points, while Louwrens van Schaik finished second with 382 points and Henk Snyder third with 337 points.
