Gae and Riaan win Troupante golf event
With clear skies and scorching conditions, ardent golfers took part in the Troupante golf group tournament as well as the Winners Circle golf day.
SECUNDA – It was a busy weekend at the Graceland Hotel, Casino and Country Club’s golfing greens, with Saturday, 20 February and Sunday, 21 February, seeing two golfing events take place.
With clear skies and scorching conditions, ardent golfers took part in the Troupante golf group tournament as well as the Winners Circle golf day.
Taking first place in the Winners Circle golf day were Jacques Cloete and Pierre Theron on 44 points.
Second place went to André Blom and Jerry Sisa with 42 points.
Coming in at third place was Paul van Biljon and Michael Bennett on 41 points with Fank Betrams and John van Rensburg taking fourth place on 40 points.
In the Troupante golf group tournament Gae and Riaan Burger took first place.
The couple ended on a 49 points on the first day and finished day two on a better ball score of 46. The couple took the overall win on 95 over second place winners Jacques and Fienie Sieberts who ended the two days on a overall score of 87 points.
