Young golf players take part in championship in Evander
Dean Hall wins third consecutive time.
EVANDER – The Junior Golf Championship took place at Walker Park Golf Club on Sunday, 28 February and Dean Hall won the division A – gross with 74 points.
This was Hall’s third consecutive win while Henco Coetzee finished second in this division with 75 points.
Bea Breedt won the girls’ division A – gross with 89 points.
Zane Nel won the division A- nett with 75 points and in division B – gross, Schalk Grobbelaar finished first with 84 points while Lourens van Niekerk finished second with 87 points.
Morgan van der Westhuizen was the winner among the girls’ division B – gross and won with 104 points.
Greg Andrew Rogers won the division B- net with 72 points.
In division C – nett, Dieter van Niekerk won with 39 points and in division D – gross, Sandile Mahlangu won with 128 points. The organisers of the day thanked Lukas Potgieter who was the sponsor of the day.
