UPDATE: Run for Rover is cancelled
Mr René Reyneke of Multilink Financial Services said this afternoon that the fun run will no longer take place because of Covid-related issues.
Businesses host fun run in Secunda
SECUNDA – Multilink Financial Services and FMI will be hosting their first Fun Run for Rover event on Wednesday, 26 May.
Runners can choose to run 5km or 10km.
Entry fee is R50 per person in aid of the Highveld Ridge SPCA.
The run will kick off from Curro School in Secunda at the hockey and netball fields’ entrance.
The event will begin at 6pm and runners can already show up at 5pm already to complete Covid-19 questionnaires and to ensure that they comply to regulations.
All runners must wear masks until the beginning of the race.
As this will not be an official race, there will be no time keeping and there will be two water points on the route.
Runners will receive an official race T-shirt before the race and instead of medals, runners will receive a goodies bag. They can also enter online by visiting Multilink’s Facebook-page.
