Youth Aftercare hosts soccer tournament in Lebohang
The aim of the tournament was to give young talented soccer players from Lebohang a chance to enhance their skills to become players for Premier soccer league teams and abroad, according to Mr Madoda Motha, one of the organisers.
LEBOHANG- Youth Aftercare Development Centre in Lebohang township hosted a Wafa-Wafa soccer tournament on June 12 and 13.
This tournament was part of Youth Month celebrations.
Ezenkosi FC managed to beat Heart Breakers FC by 3-1, and moved on to face PSG Leandra FC , but they lost by 0-2.
PSG Leandra FC played against and lost to Cameroon FC from eMbalenhle in the finals.
Cameroon FC were hailed the overall winners of the tournament for beating PSG Leander by 2-0.
The aim of the tournament was to give young talented soccer players from Lebohang a chance to enhance their skills to become players for Premier soccer league teams and abroad, according to Mr Madoda Motha, one of the organisers.
“Our organisation aims to give all type of skills to young people from Gert Sibande District Municipality, whether it be educational, business or any programme that can uplift young people,” said Mr Motha.
